Bilecik Demir Çelik has announced its 2030 and 2050 emission commitments within the framework of its vision of responsible steel production. As BDÇ, we promise to reduce our 2021 carbon footprint by at least 40% until 2030 and to become carbon neutral by 2050.
We would like to proudly announce that we are the first steel producer in our country whose commitments are in line with the target of limiting global warming to 1.5 C0 and comply with the criteria of "SCIENCE BASED TARGET (SBT), NET ZERO STANDARD".
